The Department of Education and Skills acknowledge that parents are the primary educators of their children.  To help parents become involved in their children’s education, they have provided funding to NALA (The National Adult Literacy Agency) to set up a website for parents.  It is called “Help My Kid Learn” and has many useful links to games and activities suitable for all age groups.  The 8-9 age group is most suitable for children in 3rd & 4th class.
