Clothes Collection

We have arranged our annual clothes collection for Tuesday 16th May.

All proceeds will go towards our Sensory Garden which we are currently working on.

If you are spring cleaning over the Easter break please consider donating your unwanted clothes/shoes/handbags/bed linen/belts/curtains/towels/soft toys to us! Please also ask friends and relations to do the same.

Items may be dropped into school (in any refuse sack) from Monday 8th May.

Thank you

A visit from the firefighters!

We were delighted to welcome three firefighters to our school last Wednesday. The children had the opportunity to ask the firemen questions about their job. They even had a chance to hop on board the fire engine.

A big thank you to John, Merrvyn and Ian for taking the time to visit our school!

Parents’ Association Scrap Metal Collection

A huge thank you to all those parents and members of the wider community who brought their scrap metal to school on Saturday 4th March for the Parents’ Association fund raising event. A total of €731 has been raised to date. This includes a very generous donation of €150 from Sammy and Eunice McQuade. Thank you to the Parents’ Association committee and to Wilton Waste for organising this very successful event.

The Infants finished their fish tanks this week and can’t wait to bring them home! We have completed our theme on ‘Pets’ and are now moving on to a new topic ‘The Fire Station.’ We will be learning all about fire safety over the next few weeks.
