Gaelgóirí na Míosa

Táimid ag cur béim ar labhairt na Gaeilge.  Bhain na daltaí sa phictúir duais mar bhain siad úsáid as gaeilge sa seomra ranga, sa chlos agus timpeall na scoile.

(We are encouraging the use of Irish.  These pupils in the picture won a prize because they used Irish in the classroom, in the yard and all around the school.)

Bain trial as sa bhaile freisin! (Try it at home too!)

Autumn

We are working on the theme of  ‘Autumn’ in the Infant Room. We listened to the story ‘The Gruffalo’ in English class, and we set up our own Gruffalo’s forest in the classroom. We have been singing ‘Incy Wincy Spider’ all week, so we decided to make our very own Incy Wincy Spiders. Have a look!

The Doctor’s visit

The doctor came to visit the Infants today. We had great fun looking in the doctor’s bag. We even got stickers. Thank you Dr. Mc Cullough for visiting our classroom. You gave the Infants a great insight into the role of the doctor.
